Can some more experienced persons give me the pros and cons between agencies and independents.

maybe somewhere there is an agency that is ok ... I have been told there may be 1 or 2 on the East Coast and there may be others.  But for my money you can not go wrong with the incerdible indie's you will find reviewed here on the TER.  Why pay $$ or $$$ in agency fees upfront, and then fall into a lenghtly discussion with your agency gal about her fees, what she will or won't do, all the "that will be extra" yadda, yadda, yadda. You go with an agency gal ... 150 to 200 goes to the agency .. plus another 250 to 300+ to the agency gal for services discussed for a 1 hour date. Total outlay if your lucky 400 to 500+ for the hour. 1 hour with an incredible indie experience 300 all inclusive. Go with an agency gal and the majority of the time the girl you want is not the girl that shows up at your door.  With an indie most if not all have their own websites so you can see before hand what she looks like, what her likes and dislikes are, the positives are endless. An agency girl it's a crap shoot most of the time she's just crap .... hobby safe hobby well hobby all you can be.....

I only know about Phoenix, but here we have an agency called TLC(Taylor Lynn & Co.)  The girls are all what you see on their web site and you always get who you ask for.  Pricing can be done up front and I have never heard anyone say they got less than expected.  They run in/call specials at times for $300FS and out/call from $350 to $500.  If you're from out of town and want to be safe and sure this is the only agency I know of to use.  Of course we have some great independents for less money, but if you what a agency use TLC.

If you want to see how good agencies can be.  We have Elliott Bay, Executive Priviledges, Beautiful Companions, Agency Elite and the newly established Peachtree which offer beautiful women, reasonable rates, no upselling, dependabilty and good service.

When I've hobbied in other cities, I have gone the indy route because of the hit and miss reputations of the agencies but if one were to come to Seattle, these agencies will take good care of you.

If you spend a lot of time with a small agency you'll meet a wider variety of ladies. I've spent time with a few agency ladies that I didn't think were my type. I saw them because I wanted to meet the "new girl". MOST of the time I was pleasantly suprised. If you like variety, a good agency may be for you.

On the other hand...

Knowing a few good indy's can be just as satisfying too.

It is a question that only you can answer over your career as a Hobbyist.

I, myself, like them both.

Your best bet, as a Newbie, is to meet well reviewed Indy's. Learn the talk and the walk.

I can only speak for Los Angeles, but the agencies I would trust here are Southcoast VIP, South Bay Models, and Platinum Connections. They have good reputations. But, unless you can find out from others which agencies are good, I'd stick to well-reviewed independents.

Thanks for all these opinions.  I'll go indie for starts.  Seems like there are some nice choices in the city.

It is hard for a newcomer to find the quality providers in most cities. The flakes do most of the advertising.
In searching for indies watch out for the "pay for review" boards. They get a lot of fake reviews.

I can't speak for everyone, but you sound way off base.  I am not trying to debate you, but I would like to know where your information for this, across the board, slam of agencies is coming from.  Again I am only speaking for myself, but I will attempt to answer your points from my agencies policies.

The agency fees you are quoting are waaaaay off.  I know some other agencies prices and you are not even close.  And agency fees are included in the price quoted, they are not a seperate charge.

There is no discussion of money with our providers for above all else, Legal concerns.  When done properly, the fee quoted when you set up your appointment should be left on a table for the provider to collect, with no discussion needed.  Upselling is strictly prohibited.  Tipping is not required.

Our hourly rate is $$$ (Full Service), we have a website with actual photos on it, we never send a girl you didn't request unless you do not have a preference.  In describing your "incredible indy", you are describing our agency.

Problems happen and you can not always screen-out potential bad providers.  When problems arise at this agency, the girls are either warned or let go and never warned about the same thing twice.  I am working hard to build a solid reputation and ripping off a first time client instead of trying to make them a repeat customer does not add up to me.
