I see some of these threads on regional boards asking who is available on such and such date and waiting for providers to respond or pm? Is this considered an ISO type thread that is ok on regional boards?
I wouldn't mind doing it myself sometimes but I am thinking it's kind of a lazy way of looking and if enough hobbyists do it, it would be a mess.
. They do seem to be more of an ISO type post though and maybe should go on the ISO board. They likely wouldn't be seen there. From what I see they do get responses.
I have done it a few times. If I need to know quickly, or don't have a lot of time to go one on one. I won't make a habit of it, as it does seem lazy. Did get a lot of responses, and pm's. Met some lovely ladies, and was able to get seen quickly.
was over one of the new regional boards I would let ISO posts stay on it because the traffic was very low to start. On the more active regional boards, I don't think many ISO posts would be allowed to remain. Now, since admin is in charge of all the boards, it is their decision as to whether ISO posts should be allowed to stay on the regional boards.
You can try to post on your regional board, and see what happens, but do not be surprised if it gets moved to the ISO board. If you do this, be sure to specify the area you are looking for, so if it gets moved, those who read it will know where you are looking. I saw numerous posts that got moved to the ISO board and there was nothing in the post to give the reader a clue where the poster was looking.
