Please tell me, what are whitelists?

They are when a provider gives an 'okay' of sorts to a client she has seen....

so, for example, look at the page of the hobbyist I have linked to.  First you will see a list of his reviews, then under the reviews you will see that he has 3 whitelists (including one from me).  

Unless you don't have VIP.  Then I don't know if you can see the whitelists or not.

Check the Self-Help Center. Look at the link titled...

..."Some info for Providers" scroll down to the White List FAQ's.

You don't have to be VIP to see your own white list but to see others and to search you need VIP.
