When you sign uo you are just a basic member like everyone else. You have to have reviews linked to your name, to be distinguished as a provider, then the whitelist button will show up, (as well as some other benefits). If you have reviews here (search for them under your name, phone number, email address, location, etc) ask for them to be linked to your username. If you don't have any, then you have to wait until you get your first.

Read the self help center (look for it by the life preserver at the top of the page) especially the "information for providers"
part.

Also, read the whitelist FAQ (linked below) especially the part that says, "I am a provider and I don't see those buttons..."

Occasionally some take a little longer. However if it is the hobbyist's first review, and the provider's first review, sometimes TER will hold it, until another review is submitted.

As for the "self Help Center," hit the back button after you read this. You won't find it on this page while you are reading posts, but if you go "back" to the newbie main page (actually any of the discussion boards' home pages) look at the top right and you should see a red and white life preserver. Under that are two links. One is the "self Help Center" and the ither is "Message Board Policies."

then there is no life preserver.

Instead you will find the Self Help/Newbie Manual about 1/3 down and in the center of the page.
