because as soon as she does that, I think the typical client will think:  "See ya MUCH later."

Tipping is somewhat controvertial, and if you do a search on here under the word "tipping" you'll find hours of threads on it.

Bottom line:  It's always up to you and how you feel about it.  Most gals says that they don't expect it, and your return business is the ultimate tip.

I'm a relative newbie, and have been to four KMP/agencies. The most recent one I went to was the first time that the provider asked for a tip (actually, she said, "what, no tip?"). I get why you tip at a MP with a house charge of .60, but when I'm paying 200, should I expect to tip? Or was she just trying to get a little more out of me? Thanks.

Pretty much what I thought, thanks. But since you raise the point about searching "tipping", can I ask: where exactly is the search field? I am looking all over the site and can not figure out how to search a topic.

Go back to the main newbie page.  Look for the 4 blue boxes toward the top of the page.  Look for the box that says "search" clik on it.  then you'll see on the next page a bunch of boxes.. Find the one that says "search for"  Type in "tipping" Teh change the range from 30 days to 360 days. Let the ter search  engine do it's thing and you should see others posts on the subject.

it is a major turn off.   Tipping should always be optional.   I would include it in your review.
