Just wanted to say thank you
For the suggestion about using the pre-paid card for the VIP. Can see much needed information! I am curious though, as to why other competitors of this site don't charge you to view the same information as you see with the VIP on here. Is it that the other sites just can't be trusted or something? My deep apologies if that's any sort of violation, just trying to get a bigger view of what I just paid for, OTHER then being able to see complete details is all. Am quite pleased overall. Big thank you again to the person that suggested the gift card in previous thread. OUTSTANDING ADVICE!!
TER is at the top of the class in what it does, so it commands the dues it exacts.
What specific card did you use that worked?
There have been several prior discussions on people looking to use an anonymous prepaid card and it seems than many (or most?) gift cards aren't, or at least weren't at the time, accepted by the online member system or else the cards required registration for mailing to ones home.
I threw out the cover actually but I'll check again next trip to the store. Sold at local A&P and they have Visa's, Amex's and MC's too. I'll get that info for you next post. Takes about 30 minutes for your funds to hit the card after buying. Make sure you wait like 30 mins before using.
For my other response though. I agree, this is a good place for reviews. For guideline purposes of course, I can't NAME the competitor, but I'm sure it's common knowledge a competitor doesn't charge to be a member there as I read reviews openly posted in public, and thus rearrifmed the knowledge I found on here. That's why I'm asking. So I paid for my VIP, and no problems with that, but is that all I really paid for? Just to see the reviews only or are there other benefits to this that I'm not aware of? Don't read this please as displeasure, I'm VERY happy with what I got. I just don't understand.
I have seen those cards at the counters of big drugstores around here, also at banks. There is a fee to buy them though.
Yes there is a fee and yes those cards seem to be almost everywhere. However, the TER online system will NOT, or at least previously would not, accept many if not most of those cards rejecting them during the process.
If someone would post which cards that were anonymous and actually worked with the TER membership system, it would save others the hassle, cost and frustration of experimenting.
Look for www.giftcardbalance123.com on the back. You go online to register the card with any info you want.
Since finding TER, I have realized that real reviews are the best tool for checking out dates. TER stands alone in this.
One other site I'm familiar with uses a similar set up to this... but that site is provider driven & no checks if reviews are real... I've found ladies there who must have written the reviews themselves.
Of course, the knowledge gained here, is a huge help in avoiding poor choices.

I don't know of ANY national review sites that allow you to view full review information (including services offered/received, and the juicy details), without some sort of VIP membership, whether it be by payment or posting reviews. TBD charges, TNA - yup, ASPD - the same.
What do you get from TER that you don't get from the others:
1) Some of the most active and interesting discussion boards on the web.
2) Access to the webs largest escort database.
3) Quality control of the reviews. TER proactively works to prevent review fraud, provides a means for profile details to be updated.
And what do you get with VIP:
1) The ability to see the full reviews.
2) Full use of the most flexible review search engine around.
3) The ability to check out another reviewers history to see if you can trust what he says.
4) The use of TER's private mail system.
5) The ability to have a little more fun and mischief on the boards by using an alias.
I'd say thats good value for money.

Dixie, Good points too. Not the price so much now as just like what exactly do I get, (answered now) vs if just reviews only as a public viewing can be done on another site. Jazz answered that aspect and I mailed him the site. I thank you also.
I've narrowed down my first from 6 to three!!
I'll be damned if I can find the card I used now, but getting another is not difficult. The fee for the one I had is 5.95. You can charge it from 20.00 to 200.00, but not rechargeable. Use and burn basically. Takes 30 mins to upload the money to card, and that works here as that's what I used. Again, I think a big thanks has to go to the previous thread that suggested using this. I think it was the one about how do I know if LE...whoever that was, I thank you big time.!!
You get 15 days credit for each review and 2 days credit for each problem report. So, if you are a frequent contributor with reviews of the ladies you see based on your research here, and you submit problem reports on incorrect profiles you find during that research (bad websites, etc) then you can retain your VIP for free.
What other site with reviewer driven profiles offers you that?
Besides, even if you pay for it, it costs a measly $180.00 per year to ensure that you get what you're looking for. How can you possibly beat that?
I was hobbying for 25 years before I found TER. I was robbed at gunpoint once, hit over the head with a hotel dresser drawer once, threatened numerous times,and had so many other painful, fucked-up experiences that it would take too damned long to recount in this post.
Since I've found TER, I have had the time of my life because I KNOW what I'm getting when I get there. My standards have risen, and they have been met by every lady I've seen. Also, I have met women on this site that I would never have met, and for that I'm grateful as hell.
Enjoy the site and stop fretting over a fraction of what you will eventually pay for the wonderful memories these providers will create for you.

Thankfully, I've never had the negative experiences that Dixie_Chicken has, but they go to illustrate the value of what you get here.
I'm no shill for TER, but think about it for a minute. For less than the cost of an hour with a typical lady, you have a year's worth of research at your disposal. A years worth of avoiding total whackos, bait & switch situations, psycho pimps, etc. All for less than an hours worth of time. My safety and public reputation are worth more than that, so I'm not going to sweat the cost, even if I never hobby enough to maintain a free membership.
In the business world, there are some things that are just unavoidable costs of doing business the right way. Taxes, benefits for employees, and the overhead of your office. You just accept them and move on without any deliberation, since they are just part of the deal. I look at a TER membership that way. To minimize my risk and have the best time I can, it is a cost I'm happy to pay.
