I suggest you do an internet search under "boudoir photography" in your neighborhood, then go to the websites of several and see what you think of the samples they have up on there.
I think it is a very good idea to use a professional photog rather than take selfies.
Since you are new to the and TER, I also think it would be a good idea to read the Newbie/Self Help Manual that you will find linked on this page. It has lots of information that will help you to use TER to your advantage, as well as general information about the hobby.
