By the way, I say nerd as a term of affection...since I am a dork I relate to nerds best ;)

So here's my prob...there is a certain application we sometimes advertise on that eliminates words it doesn't like...so if you type something like, I look younger than I am, it will just bleep out the word younger...you only find out when you type something and then look at your ad if it doesn't like a word you used...so it happens that the application does not like my last name...so when I type in my webaddress it should automatically create a link, but it bleeps out my last name which of course breaks the link and I can't post a link to my website in the ad...this is infuriatingly frustrating as at first I just asked people to text me for my web address but answering all the texts is getting annoying...so I think if I have the html to post a link to my ad with something else in there as the actual link "visit my website for all the details" it might work...but my html skills are minimal at best...I'm sure I could google this and figure it out but I bet one of you helpful peeps can just rattle off the code to me.
Thanks in advance.

Go to the site below, see the example for 'HTML Link Syntax' at the top of the page.

If you're using a software app I would think that it has an option somewhere to turn that feature off.  Doesn't sound so much like an actual html syntax issue as an auto-correct feature.  Can you contact the software vendor and ask?  Since I don't know the specific app you're referring to, that's my only idea.

Good luck.

Here's the deal, to clarify...it's a well known advertising place for providers...the application where you insert your text simply refuses some key words they have chosen ahead of time such as young, younger (those I know for sure) and apparently my last name, "Rider" ...so I tried putting in the html code for a link and it STILL wouldn't accept my name even though the word wouldn't appear in the text, only unviewable as a hyper link with alternate text, it STILL auto corrects to starr.com instead of starrRider.com and breaks the link...so anyway...my only option apparently is to have them contact me by email for my web address (cause I'm tired of the phone calls and texts, OI...I guess this will cut down on web traffic unfortunately for those who just want a quick peek, but on the otherhand those who are really interested will have to directly contact me for the intel...
aw f*cking well, what can I do?
