When looking at an ad, some guys want SOME indication of geography before they waste time searching reviews on TER only to find out she's 1000 miles away. And then there are all the guys who don't use TER and are totally without a clue. (Some say that most hobbyists do not even know about TER.)

Time is a crucial resource in this hobby by which I mean finding the right time in the right place without the presence of the right people looking over your shoulder so you can search for details that could more quickly and easily be found right there in the ad.
