Newbie - FAQ

When writing review, Agency or Independant? (when neither is exactly correct)

Seems like a lot of providers are using an assistant or "booker"  these days.

When writing a review, I'm not sure which to check in this case.  To me, an "Agency" implies they have a website with a gallery of models/girls.  An "Independant" means exactly that... she works alone, answers her own phone/email as many of the wonderful ladies do.

The same goes for the "Type of phone service" selections.  "She picks up" doesn't accurately describe a booker/assistant, nor do any of the other options.

So my question is thus... which of the existing choices best describes the assistant/booker scenario, or if there are others who feel the same as me, shall we lobby TER to add an appropriate descriptive option?

These girls are STILL INDEPENDENTS. I agree there should be an option on reviews to fill in "booker", or "phone person"  instead of "she picks up" etc.

My recommendation is to post this on the "Suggestion & Policy" board on  the left below Meet & greet board.

Being independent doesn't mean you cant have employees. I.E. A booker, assistant, webmaster, etc, et

when you work for an agency you are working FOR someone else

pretty simple.

Independant means that she works by herself, and not with a stable of other women.   OTOH not every woman is a web wizard, nor does every woman want to answer the phone, so they hire consultants to handle those duties.   Using your logic, it could be argued that the phone company is her employee since they are providing a service of the phone line.

That does not make the woman an agency, nor does it take away from her being an independant woman.   It just means that some of the things that she is not good at are performed by others she is paying to do so.  They are most certainly not her employees.

I consider a woman independant if she is free to change her rates/hours, etc., and keeps all the money she makes (except for her expenses)
