Ok. Newbie with no experience but doing my research.  Often times I see people talking about negotiating rates especially when talking AMP service, but most independents have their own sites and list their rates.  Should these rates be negotiated as well or do these providers set the rates and it's take it or leave it?  What's the general rule?

Independents operate differently than the AMP's; the rates advertised are non-negotiable.

This is to the benefit of both parties involved as you should never be required to discuss the transaction. Your only correspondence is making the appointment; then during the session, you may place the enevelope and neither of you will ever need to mention it.

...and FYI, most good reputable indy's consider it rather insulting if you attempt to bargain. The only time it would be considered acceptable would be for longer multiple hour sessions being discounted.

if it is all inclusive & if tipping is REQUIRED.  As some providers donation is only for them to meet you.  You can avoid these women by reading their reviews!

it is someone that you have seen before or a lady that knows you by reputation (not applicable in your case) and SHE OFFERS it.

I have been in the situation where a lower rate was negotiated for a longer date...always brought up by her.

Never be a cheap skate.  Word will get around.  If you can't afford her, try someone else.

Bottom Line NEVER.  The lady gets a preconceived notion that you are a cheap skate, most likely will then limit her services.

Once you have seen the lady a few times she may offer up a discount.

How do you know the price and if the price is posted how do you know what it includes.  I have been confused by reviews that speak of negotiating prices when the lady arrived.  I thought that doing that was a ticket to the stone pile with sledgehammer included.
