When to Bail?

At what point should one consider a Provider to be "MIA/AWOL" and make other arrangements for the appointment in question?  I made a first-time In-Call date several weeks in advance and received a confirmation e-mail that said she would be happy to meet and would contact me as soon as she arranged the hotel (she is touring and will be in my city all of next week).  I e-mailed her one week before our meeting in order to confirm that  we were still on.  I received no response for two days, so I followed up with a PM through Preferred411.  Still no response even though I can see that she logged on to P411 after I sent the PM.

I don't want to be a pain in the neck, but if we aren't going to meet then I'd like to receive sufficient notice so that I can make alternative arrangements with a different provider.  Any advice on my next move and when to "pull the plug"?   Thanks in advance for your guidance.

if I understand your post correctly, if you've sent her two emails with no replies, than I'd move on.
Now, my question for you, did you have a confirmed day, time, and length of session? and were you fully screended and good to go

We had a confirmed date and time.  I don't know if she completed screening, but she indicated in her e-mail that "she would be happy to meet" with me.

48-72 hours to me is the max amount of time I would give before starting anew with another gal.

One of the most glaring flaws here at TER is that providers can no-call-no-show with impunity, since guys can't review a girl we've not seen, so there is no measure of reliability.

I've had a provider averaging a 9.2 not show. I've had a porn starlet with a reputable agency not show *on a travel date.*  My hunch is ths is way more prevalent than we talk about.

My solution is this.  I've recently started sending something like this 24 hours before the meeting...

"Hey, sweetie - just confirming we're on tomorrow (Monday) at 8:30.  Please let me know you got this and confirm our appointment, and once I hear from you I'll shoot you the room number when I check in."

(I'm 100% outcall while traveling... adjust accordingly).

So far so good.  Some providers are super reliable, but many are not.

since your post suggests that you are both members of P411..you should ALWAYS request an appointment through the site to avoid any hassles or delays..the providers on P411 know to get back to you within a reasonable amount of time..Gina has strict rules for providers and hobbyists alike..if the rules are followed..it is a seamless process that removes any doubt with both parties involved..

Is this preferable to using the Provider's secure contact form?

That way you only have to give out your personal info one time.

Swim

YES..this way..P411 has a record of any interaction between you two..she obviously looked up your profile..without a Request for an Appointment..you are at her mercy..

and the consenus opinion about P411 is correct, it is one the safest and easiest for all parties concerned. Although like all systems, it's still not perfect as human beings are involved.

Sent an appt request with a comment about the previous discussion & ask for confirmation asap. If she doesn't respond, move on ... You could report it to Gina at p411 but that's your choice. I personally would not report anyone for 1 incident because you never know what is going on in her life but that's me. I would just move on.

I had a lady that I PM'd a couple of weeks ago check out my profile that very day and then nothing, no return PM or anything at all. Then two days ago I get a notification that she has checked out my profile once again on Wednesday. I sent her a brief PM asking if she had seen something in my profile that made her uncomfortable about seeing me or if she had just been busy? To make a long story short, she said she had simply had a "blonde moment" and that she would very much like to see me. We got together about three hours later and had a great time.

See, some stories do have a happy ending. lol

I do agree that I would never report a "non response" to Gina, I would simply move on, and like HH opined, two unreturned emails is about my limit.

Thanks - I did as you suggested and it worked!  She responded right away and confirmed the appointment,

Hi I wanted to add my experiences with p411. I have learned not to try booking weeks in advanced. Even when I saw someone traveling in that I really wanted to see. I worried that she might get filled up, so I had this urge to get my request in as soon as possible... I have learned to resist this urge. The issue is that so much can happen in between the time when you request the appointment and the actual appointment. I got a couple of cancellations with notice, and one without notice.

5 or 6 days seems to be optimal. They have always worked with me to get scheduled, and then I confirm early the day before. I have had much better luck with this approach.

Also I have booked a lot of providers traveling in. They seem to confirm the initial appointment request, and then put those clients on the back burner until they actually arrive in your city. If the trip is off, they usually go in, and remove that visiting ad. So what she did sounds pretty normal for touring in.
