I recently contacted a local provider and I'm not feeling comfortable with the way she wants to work things.  She said I have to pay to see her on webcam online first and then she will meet in person after the cam session.  Has anyone ever run into something like this?  It just seems like a way to get my credit card info and personal info.  But maybe this is a common thing? I'm no expert

Not the norm.  Move on to providers with reviews.

I did a search on her name and number on here and another site and found no reviews whatsoever.  Thanks for the help and info.  I'm NEVER contacting her again. Other than a review, is there a way to put the word out about a provider being shady or a scam/rip off?  I didn't want to post specifics about her (name/location/link to ad, etc) since I'm new and not sure if it's allowed.

I know of one provider/online porn star who does a cam verification via skype. But it is listed as an alternative to the regular screening process if you do not have references and do not want to give personal info. Also she is very well reviewed on TER. Other than that it is probably a scam or she will only end up doing a cam show and you will never get the real thing.

This is probably a scam.  You may want to deal with an agency that can do all the screening for you.

Why would she require your credit card info only doesn't make any seance  when there's things out there such as pay pal that can process payment with out giving your financial information  that's one and two why would you need to give her money better yet your financial info for her to verify you who wants to do that when all of the other providers screen and meet ...... That sounds like some bullshit ready to happen
