There is probably no need to explain the whole reason you are wanting the prescription to your family doctor.  Just tell him that you have been  having a problem performing at times and was looking for a little help.  He will probably give you a sample pack to try.  Then if it works good for you you can get a Rx from him later.

Viagra is something that you should not use unless you are under a doctors care.

I don't want to go to my doctor because, even though he's bound by privacy laws, I still feel weird about it because he's good friends with some friends of mine.

I went to viagra.com and under the tab "Getting a Prescription" there's an option for finding an ED-friendly doctor that takes you to sexualhealthdoctors.com. I've made an appointment for next week so hopefully I'll be getting some free samples. And this way I can use my insurance and only pay the copay rather than pay about $100 for only 3 tabs online.

Viagra works in your bloodstream , not in your brain. You still have to be stimulated to get an erection. The chances are it won't help you in a situation like the one you encountered.

ED meds are not candy. If you don't need them don't take them. How do you know? YOU GO SEE A DOCTOR.
ED can be a symptom of many other health problems. Go find a clinic out of town if you are worried about discretion. Unless you are hiding something from a spouse I don't understand why you wouldn't just go see your own doctor.

What Viagra will do is give you a hardon that is insensitive and make it more difficult for you to cum. Providers do not enjoy this situation. You won't either. If you can get erections in other situations (at home, viewing porn, with other ladies / other situations) than you DO NOT have ED and don't need Viagra. In this case the problem is a lack of arousal. I've been in situations where the environment ruined the moment, or where I just was not into the lady. Not often thankfully but this can't be helped - it's all part of the game. Keep at it until you find ladies you are into and who manage their environment well and you'll be a stud.

I'm not sure the V will help you...  loss of focus can be a real deal breaker.  I'd certainly have had a structural collapse!  The real fix is to structure the environment to be free of distractions, if possible.  {I had a visit with my ATF interrupted by her phone for a family emergency...  yes, it messed me up, even though she extended the visit a lot.}  

BTW, Viagra, comes 25, 50, 100mg doses...  and all cost nearly the same.  The coating is because they taste like sh*t.  Swish them with a good drink of water.  I have Rx for 100mg Viagra (spinal cord injury) and cut into 4, most bang for buck.  Use the smallest dose that works...  in my experience, larger dose does not work better.

It will work, but can be a hinderance as well for some of the reasons stated.

I used to use it when I was going through some tough times a few years ago.  What it will do, if you're nervous, is give you a longer period to get back in the game mentally before distracting thoughts do your woodie in.

Do not take a full tab.  You'll be miserable.  As has been said, decreased sensation (making it rough for you and her), stuffy nose, hot flashes, blue vision, etc.  For me, 1/5 to 1/6 of a 100mg pill is plenty to get the job done, with virtually none of the unwanted side effects mentioned above.  You'll still feel what you're doing and won't wear out the poor girl and frustrate yourself in the process.
