I recently posted a review and the current status is " NEW "

what does this mean.

I went under the providers name and I did not see it listed so My first assumption that it was a new post was not confirmed.

Any body know ?

It means your review is a new one (it was when you submitted it) and it has not been approved. When it's approved it will say "approved" where it once said "new". Then you will be able to see it under the providers profile.
