What to do about an STD?

Not an entirely dumb question, I hope.

I am not so concerned about testing, since I've read of several alternatives on here. Treatment is what I'm worried about. I wouldn't go to my family doctor and I live in an area where medical providers are not plentiful.  Does ayone know of an website or other resources where one can search for places that teat STDs?

Thanks.

If you do a Google Search on "STD, name of community", you will mainly get testing centers. Any general practitioner, family practice, urologist, or internal med doctor should be able to help. You can also try calling your local planned parenthood for medical doctor references. You can also try Urgent Care centers.

btw, if you're REALLY concerned about privacy, be sure that you're NOT signed into your Google account when you do your searches.

Are you sure you HAVE an STD or are you just asking "if...."

IF you practice safe sex your chances of an STD are slim...it doesn't hurt to see well reviewed ladies who take care of themselves. A GOOD provider will be free of any STDs

IF you have an STD then you need to get treated ASAP and find out where you got it. Think of others...get yourself treated and prevent the cycle!! Medical professionals can't disclose any information about your STD. It's more important to get good care and cure/treat your STD than it is to worry about who will find out. If you don't tell them they will not know. Just be responsible!
