What the heck is "BP"

What the heck does "BP" mean?  Been around the hobby awhile but that is new to me.   I keep seeing it in posts and it sounds like an ad site but not definitely. Can someone please enlighten me?

BP = Back Page. It's an ad site. Once had escort ads...

...no longer does but ladies have figured out a work around.

Oh, duh, should have figured that one out myself.   IMHO
BP was overrun with scams and  ripoffs anyway.
