I often get mine rejected because they appear to be an ad!!!! So far none of them were so what makes a post appear like an ad?

...and you put a link to your profile or site in it they consider it an ad. If you place your link in a reply that is not considered an ad even if you are the OP.

That's one thing that occasionally happens.
You can't place a link to your info when you post a photo in your regional board's photo theme thread. That makes it an ad.

Ok yep I got that ... Thank you

I did neither of those things and still ugghh

Other chicks complain about what you post, they will say its an ad

If they are angry, it's an ad

If you post something they don't like, it's an ad

Basically just post anything that has nothing to do with sex and or anything that say I freel, I think, I like or use the word I or they call it an ad. Grrrr.

Hell this post will be called an ad as soon as people like it.

Posting a link to your website is encouraged by TER and is not considered an ad unless it is a photo thread theme day post!

He didn't say you can't put your link in a post. He said you can't put your link in your OP. (ie threadstarter).
What he said is correct.

Here are the rules from TER policies:

Providers may not include a link to their website/web ad when starting a thread.
By participating in the discussions on TER discussion boards, you can greatly increase your visibility and give potential clients the opportunity to get to know you better. You may include your link in messages, (except if you start a thread, the link is not allowed in the OP), you contribute to on any TER discussion board, that does not count toward your ad limit.  In fact, you are encouraged to include your link, because it helps everyone get to know you better.  Putting photo's into non ad related replies to threads is not allowed, unless the thread you are replying to is about posting photo's of yourself and other provider's. Just please make those linked messages meaningful, entertaining, or helpful contributions.

...I should have finished reading the thread before posting below.

...and I knew the other quote you used was there somewhere. I just couldn't find it. But I have to admit I didn't look very hard.

I guess the rules have been changed.  Thanks guys.

...also may not post a link in your post if you are originating the thread/discussion. You may post a link in any reply you make after your originating post.

Ex: If you decide to ask a question of the guys on your regional board. You click on "New Thread", write your question, and hit "post message". You are not allowed to post a link to your profile or web site in this originating post. You may post a link in any reply you make to others answering your question.

Here's what it says:  Providers may not include a link to their website/web ad when starting a thread.

Below is the link to this guideline along with others.

I also found this somewhere else on TER sometime ago but can't find it now. It did include a statement about providers are encouraged to place links in their posts but not in thread originating posts.
