On the "FAQ for Newbies" on the left under Gernaral Discussion.  Check out the " Acronyms, and newbies' Manual" link at the top of that page.

S&M = Sado Masicism (sp) It is not for the squimish.
That is a higher degree of bondage. It can involve many situations. From a mild of whipping to actual producing permanent marks. Can also be very painful.
But, my take on what is advertised by MOST, NOT ALL providers are actually offering bondage and not the true S&M.
I hope this helps. Be safe.

There's your SM!

Be sure you collect the envelope first.

Honestly, if you are not sure about it, stay away from it.  It takes a lot of skill and practice to do right and if you don't know what you are doing, stay away from it.

It's a very small part of the hobby world anyways.

If you want to learn about it, Goggle SM/BD and you'll find no end of websites that feature it.  At least you'll find out about the savory flavor.

I must agree with Mr.Fisher it is not for a novice and requires training especially for some of the  more extreme activities.
