Hello,

I was looking at some providers that were fairly new (less than 10 reviews). I have a few questions and was wondering if anyone could help.

1) Are there fake provider profiles on this site with fake reviews that LOE uses for sting operations?

2) If they do these type of things I would figure it helps to look at the reviewers to see if they look suspicious.

3) When looking at the reviews is it strange to see someone that reviewed a lot of providers but does not have one whitelist from a provider?

I hope this makes sense. I am trying to ask these questions but I cannot always state the question correctly.

I'd be surprised if it hasn't been tried, but do you really expect someone to be able to publicly give you an affirmative answer, with examples?  This is an open, PUBLIC, forum. :smh:

Well, yes. That being said, any time you are at all uncertain of a lady, for any reason, post on your local board for others to weigh in about her.  ;-)

No. Nor is the opposite unusual either.  Some reviewers don't bother asking to be Whitelisted for any number of reasons, while some Whitelisted TER members don't write reviews.  Neither are a definitive indicator of ANYTHING.

...there are fake profile put up by LE.  TER does not allow reviews of non-reviewed providers by first time reviewers.  This is to prevent fake reviews to get a provider started but it also keeps out LE who may want to set up both a fake provider profile and a fake reviewer account to sting hobbyists.

2)  It is always a good idea to look at the reviewers' previous reviews and if the other reviewers were whitelisted by different providers.

3)  TER allows hobbyists not to display their whitelists if they so choose.  It doesn't mean they don't have whitelists, it just means they don't want to show them.
