If you give a past provider's name to a new provider as a reference check I am curious what type of info is exchanged.
Is it only that you aren't a psycho? A good tipper? big/small?

Most often the only things I ask another provider during a provider referance

A:did you see this person?
B:did you have any problems with this person?

any other information shared is volunteered... such as likes/ dislikes of a client... nothing really much beyond that...if it even gets that far. Most often it is just the main two questions.


However the other provider often asks when and where she saw you last and possibly for you to describe some of your session with her or your appearance ...  often times we run across several clientele with very similar names and locations... so it is just something to help us jog the ole memory board...
