What is a 'non pro'?

When I was an escort ( I am mostly retired now) some of my clients referred to me as a non pro...but I never got what it meant. Anyone who can shed some light on this?

someone who does it occasionally and has a regular job. She does not depend on it for a major source of income.

For you it means that you do not have a professional attitude.

With no way of talking to those clients I would tend to think this is the likely meaning.

always doing it the same way.  Some providers are so coreographed in that they do the same routine with each client; kind of like 10 minutes kissing, 5 minutes sucking, and a quick fuck and then rush hime out the door.

It's a meaningless term that some escorts use to make you believe that they are low volume.  If a woman takes money for sex she is a pro.  Volume is irrelevant.

Yes, but there are always inexperienced pros, as everyone has to start sometime.  But they're so inexperienced that they would likely not even know to label themselves as "non-pros".  So you're right...if the label is in the ad, they're pros. Lol
