I have found that many hotels are clamping down on the 3 PM check-in time, even if they have a room ready.

 
If you are a member of their frequent guess program, they'll cut you some slack.   This happened to me a few months ago at a motel.  My date and I had to cool our heels elsewhere until 3, even though the hotel was no where near full.

But the lack of contact? I didn't think I was being out of line or annoying...

business hotels, are full on a Sunday so getting an early check-in on a Monday should not be a problem.

Might not have been the hotel's fault at all.

Hookers flake out all of the time.  It won't be the last time if you stay in this game long enough.  Just had one flake out on me today.  Best thing to do is not take it personal and move on.  Not sure if you have access to reviews at all aka VIP, but if you do the best thing you can do is read and do your homework on ladies that you plan on seeing.  

I've had 2 NCNS's before too. One girl emailed me the next day claiming that she dropped her phone in the toilet or something. Might be true, might not be, but I doubt her only way of e-mailing clients is through the use of a phone.

Another girl just went AWOL on me, which is weird because she's still getting reviews weeks after the fact. She's a well reviewed girl too, so I don't even know what happened there.

Maybe you really wanted to bang her for one reason or another but I'm sure there's a similar girl on the market for a similar price. Don't beat yourself over a no-show, ultimately it's a transaction, not a romantic encounter with a potential love interest, so just treat it as such and find another girl. And don't bother trying to set up another date with her either, if she no-showed once, then she might do it again, and I consider that type of behavior both disrespectful and unprofessional. A provider who's cancelling a date should at least give a courtesy text, but if she can't even be bothered to do that much than she's not worth your time or money.  

As someone who has been active for a short while, my suggestion is not to take it seriously. The first one or two NCNS do feel very weird. However, after that and with some experience, you'll learn to live with it and it won't bother you anymore.

 
What I did was after a few okays, I got verified at a few agencies and now have them as a backup not only for NCNS but also for last minute cancellations.  

 
In the past couple of months, had a NCNS as well as a last minute cancellation from well reviewed providers and that didn't bother a bit. Called agency and I was taken care of both times. I do feel a bit weird about outing them out, did that with the first one since I'd freaked out, but don't do that anymore since it is very difficult to find out if one is telling the truth (though sometimes the excuses are just so obvious    .
