Some of the posters have been helping me with suggestions for a birthday present. Is this an acceptable itinerary? Limo to music venue for appetizers and drinks... fun-time limo ride to a stop at a strip club... then back to the hotel to finish the night. I honestly don't know if this is acceptable.

What Ron said, find a gal you think is hot and tell her you want to have an extended date (more money for her and maybe more fun too), explain what you have in mind. Most ladies would probably jump at this as opposed to a "standard" day.

Don't expect to pay less than her rate because of the "date" aspect. You are paying for her time.

it's acceptable. What portion of your plan seems questionable to you? Why? Most guys would love a present like this and I'm guessing many providers would enjoy the prospect of a fun night out as well. I don't understand your reticence?

It seems to me that an intelligent woman posting on this board would realize that she is an anomaly - and, if she wanted intelligent and informed answers to her questions, she would identify herself to avoid getting a slew of coments and answers from newbies and other hobbyists who have not memorized her screenname and don't know her story. Maybe even posting a link instead of waiting for Big Papa to do it for her.

But that's just me.

As for your specific question, I don't really get it. What do you mean "acceptable"? Haven't you already been dipping into this world with your husband? You seriously don't know if the date you propose would be fun for him? Maybe you need to try a couple's retreat that involves a team of therapists instead of sex with a bunch of strangers.

Your response is filled with assumptions and judgments. This is not a good place for that. And on the newbie board of all places! You should know better. And yes, we are newbies. This will be our second tryst. Stop raining on my parade and take your negativity someplace else.

I'm not very smart - maybe you could point out to me what, exactly, are the assumptions (and judgements) I have made in my last post?

You don't like my tone, that's fine; in fact, that was my intent - so, mission accomplished. It doesn't change the content of my advice, which is GOOD advice: If you identify yourself and tell a bit of your story, then you won't get confused replies from those who don't know your story.

Don't play games with me. You are plenty smart and know exactly what I mean by assumptions and judgments. Advise taken but don't pretend that was you purpose. Your true intend was stated in you title. You're just an old sourpuss who finds amusement knocking down people. No wonder you don't like me - we're opposites. I am a positive person. You on the other hand exemplify negativity. I'm sure I'm not the first to say this to you. Find someone else to pick on... I have no further interest in arguing with you.

I have no idea what "assumptions" you think I made in my first post.

I did not pretend that giving advice was my purpose - in fact, I think I stated quite clearly that communicating my tone of annoyance with you WAS my main purpose, so I don't know what you mean about playing games. I'm not playing games with you, in fact, I think that YOU are a game player, and that's why I choose to reply to your posts and call you out when I can.

I've been around here for more than ten years, and there are precious few people who rub me the wrong way as you have. There are plenty of troll posters that I make a point of never replying to. But I post VERY frequently on the newbie board doing my best to give constructive advice.  

And yes, you ARE the first person to ever tell me that I exemplify negativity. In fact, I have occasionally been complimented for the cear and positive way that I post. Your view is slightly slanted, as it is 100% true that I have been VERY negative towards YOU.

I'm done. You can have the last word if you need it. You ARE right, there is no point in arguing and I don't feel the need to, I've said my piece, and I WILL stop picking on you.
