Holy moly!

I was just looking around on the site and came across Ava Devine and see that she is $1,200 an hour!  Yikes.  That's a new timing belt, water pump, tension bar probably a couple of new tires for my audi guys!  How do you do this?  My ATM daily limit is $300.  Do you really walk around with $1,200 cash in your pocket?  Dang.  What is the most expensive girl on here going for?  Do you have to get a second mortgage?  What is the difference between a 300, 400 and 700 dollar providers or is it personal preference and what the market will bear? How often can you afford this?  Just on your birthday right?  You sent aside a hundred bucks a month and wait a year right?  Do you put the money aside in an interest bearing account?  Should I ask my boss for a raise?

While $1200.00 may be an awful lot of play-time money for you and me, it's chicken-feed to some guys.

The average rate for a good provider is more like $250 to $300 per hour.

Sure, the $1,000+ provider may have a harder body and will, perhaps, give greater attention, but I have a wonderful time with providers in the lower cost ranges.  The most I have ever paid is $3,000 for two hours, and while she was nice, I would not repeat.

It's just not worth it and I do not have money to burn.

I know we don't discuss specific providers on the newbie board, but this is an interesting case.

Google Ava Devine.  You will discover that is an award winning porn star.  Her time comes at a premium which some insecure, pretentious, sad, have more money than they will ever need, guys are more than happy to pay.  They are porn groupies, not hobbyists.

The most I have ever paid is $$$$.  I know it means a bit more advanced planning, and a 2nd trip to the ATM, but the jump from $$.5 to $$$.5 is usually well worth it.

Jazz32, I really like the distinction you make between porn groupies & hobbyists.  I sometimes read the Porn Stars board and I am a fond of that film genre.  My impression is that those ladies make $1,200, $1,500 or more for a porn shoot, so that is what they charge for a session.  

That hardly seems fair, since a porn shoot would be a lot more work, what with stopping to shoot stills and such.  But if guys are willing to pay it, you can hardly blame the girl.  These guys are not really hobbying.  Instead they are starfucking in the most literal sense possible.

I also suppose that it is the same concept as when a porn star feature dances at a strip club.  Guys will pay 3 times more for a lapdance from her than they would from a regular girl.  While it may be a great lapdance, it is mostly for the concept of being with this girl whose porn persona is so famous.  Then, if  you are ever in a conversation with another porn aficianado, you can say, "yeah, I've been with her."

Not really sure where the word "fair" comes into play. The lady is certainly entitled to charge whatever she wants. Honestly most of them don't get anywhere near $1500 for a shoot but, if it's any consolation, they also only get to keep about half of the escorting fee if they are booking through an agency.

If a PS is what you want (not really in my price range) there are lots of independent PS's and former Ps's out there at l,000 an hour or less.

The difference between a four hundred dollar a night suite at the Ritz and the Holiday Inn, is real, not fantasy. You can find women who are just a hott as any porn queen in the $200-$400 range, the only difference is that you can't say that you fucked a porn queen.

I do stay at nice hotels, I could also bed $1,500 hr porn stars, but I don't. I don't generally knok those that do, but please, you can't really think you're getting anything more than fantasy, do you?
