I've read everything there is to read re: screening here at TER, and subscribe to a VIP membership. I am also verified at P411. At this point, I have no references. I've been in contact with several well -reviewed providers. My experience thus far suggests that it is possible to meet some of these ladies w/out references so long as I give up my real name and occupation. Is this just insane, or have some of you done it? I can't imagine that a highly rated lady here with multiple reviews (at least 20+ in all cases) would risk outing a client, as she would be reported on the boards immediately. Sort of like mutually assured destruction between U.S. and Russia's nuclear weapons...
You could give up your real name and occupation (and "well reviewed providers" should protect you that's one route you have as a choice, or you can start seeing a couple newbie friendly providers listed on P411(there are many) on and then you should be able to get some "okays" and open the door for other providers. Some providers may still want your real name and ID--it just depends on them.
P411 and other verification services can still find a way to verify you by other means. And as we've all said, and Meena pointed out, some providers may require verification beyond P411. Every provider has their own criteria.
Only you can decide how much information you are willing to give up to see someone. In general if you are talking about a reputable lady, you are safe giving up your real information. If you do that, to the first couple of gals you see, ask them to give you an ok on p411, and to be a future reference for you. After seeing a couple of gals like that and getting two references or p411 oks, it will be a lot easier to see future ladies without giving up your real info. Most, (but not all, as every lady is different in how she screens or what she asks for) ladies will ask for two references or two oks etc.

I work in the private sector, and cannot risk a conflict of interest, that might do me, or my/your firm harm in the future. It is a two way street.
I refuse to give any provider my work info, its just too unnecessary and uncomfortable. I would share my occupation but in no way want calls made just to check you out. Name is another issue but once you get settled in you can use an alias and they shouldn't care.
My real first name but never gave out work info or my last name. For me the girls just check my references by name and phone number. I do wish I had got a hobby phone when I started this but did not so not going to worry about it now plus I'm single so it's not much of a problem.
