OK, the disclaimers as others have stated , are basically worthless, & in some places, can actually be used against the ladies in court should something happen. Why do they use them? Many do not know any better, as they see others doing it, & just follow suit. As far the no blocked calls, in my 7 years of providing, I have not ONCE had a blocked call be a legitimate client. It's usually either teenage boys playing around on the phone, or someone who just wants to say mean things & or talk dirty. The no text thing, is because it wastes a huge amount of time, with questions that could have been asked in 1 e-mail or in a 3 min. phone conversation. Most texts are usually time-wasters, & most do not result in appointments. I make exceptions for those I've seen before, or if I've already pre-screened them & they are just confirming on the day of for an appt.
I see a ton of ads that say things like, "Donations are for time and companionship only.", "No law enforcement", and "By contacting me, you agree that you are not part of any law enforcement agency."
I mean, WTF? I'm sure the providers know that this stuff provides no legal cover, so why post stuff like that? Can someone enlighten me? I'm more apt to think that's an LE ad and they think we're stupid enough to think that's some kind of assurance.
Also, what's the deal about no blocked calls or no text msgs? I'm just trying to understand here.
You are correct however, such disclaminers will have zero effect in a courtroom.
Now, with the blocked calls, you have to understand that gals need to have some accountability, and also they often get stalked or otherwise harrassed by wierdos, etc. I totally understand and support such a thing.
To keep your side safe, buy a disposable trac phone and use it only for hobbying.
might block a solicitation charge. It has no value in a face to face meeting & most LE does not bother with trying to arrest for an ad & proving who placed it. There are only 2 people in the room, the shades are pulled & the door is locked, if the other one is LE, you are in trouble. The previous disclaimer has no value then. skb
.....blocked calls and text messaging. I do not text: period. Texts, like e-mails may be delayed, and one of us might be left wondering what happened to the other; hence; no calls/no shows. Blocked numbers are not an issue for me, as I usually know who will be calling. I do not post my number in my ads. I do not need the drunk and dials, etc. A gentleman only has my number after he has been screened, and is calling to say "hello", before our date.
