Still a bit of a newbie here, but could use some guidance. An out of town but well reviewed provider is making her first visit to Chi. I'm seeing her later this month. I'm excited. Is a 'welcome to our city' gift appropriate? If yes, any suggestions? Or, just pluck something from her wish-list? It's a multi-hour really early call. Should I be on the newbie board with this query?

not expected.  If you want to give her something, checking her wish list is a good idea.  Since she is traveling, esp if she is flying, a gift card would be best.  Have not had anyone turn down one to Victoria's Secret.

I bring things on occasion, but generally try to make them something special or that we can share. For early morning dates I will usually offer to bring coffee (or maybe she likes fruit juice or chocolate milk), maybe a roll or some fruit if she would like. This could be especially appreciated as you have a longer date and will likely burn some energy.

I had a visiting Colombian provider and happen to know a good Colombian bakery, so I brought her some bunuelos and she was delighted, still remembers that every time we meet (though I do not bring them every time).

But the lady would most likely prefer a little extra $$$, rather than a gift.

They are just wired differently and when a guy actually puts an effort towards her it is amplified 10 fold in her mind . A simple task with huge rewards.
