On this page you'll find a link to the a Newbie Manual and Board Policy section. Look for the red and white life preserver. I suggest taking the time to read that first, then come back and ask questions about it.

What mrfisher is referring to is the self help center, its formal name.

That is the first place anyone new to the site should go to and read. Like he said, after you read it, come back here if you still have questions. Also, you need to introduce yourself on your local regional board and start posting there. I'm the newbie host so if you need a private answer, feel free to PM me.
