My name is kali and I'm trying to figure out this website that a good gentleman friend of mine told me about :) so if anybody has any of advise or maybe let me know how some of these things work that'd be great !

Find the link on this page for the Newbie/Self Help Manual (Look for the red and white life preserver.) and read it through.  It has a wealth of information on how to use TER, and also on the hobby in general.

After that, come back and if you have any specific questions, the people here will be happy to help you out.
