In case anyone is wondering why, it's because I'm the host of this board.  The other hosts appear in red on the board they host.  If I post on another board, my name is in regular color just like the rest.

I cannot moderate anyone or unmoderate either.  I have nothing to do with what people post like I did before.  The only editing I can do is on my own posts, like you can edit yours.  Before, I had to approve posts from moderated posters, no more.

They never really told me what my duties are as host.  On regional boards, the host/hostess are supposed to try to get people to post, come up with interesting topics, I think.  Here, basically, all I am spsd to do is help newbies by answering questions, giving advice, pointing out links to help them.  Other than the moderating and approving of posts, that's all I did when I was a moderator.

There are some posters out there that I refer to as my 'highly unpaid assistants' that answer questions and do what I do when I am not available, and they know I appreciate their help.  Sometimes, they have knowledge that I don't.  BTW, they get paid the same as me.....LOL
