Just don't let your new found digerati status lead you too post your own reviews.

As a Newbie myself I caveat this answer with as far as I know.
You can post on all discussion boards, national and local, but there is a 24 hour waiting period for Newbies because their posts must be reviewed first by the moderator of that Board--moderated posts.
Providers post to these boards and participate in discussion as a means of advertising. However, for it to be effective you need a website that has a reciprocal agreement with TER. With this agreement in place you are allowed to add the link to your site to your posts on the boards. (Not sure of how many per day.) Hope this helps!

I suspect what you mean is, "how can I make TER work for me?"

TER has 3 basic functions.

1) The reviews!!!  These are client driven.  However, if you find inaccurate information, or worse a false review, you can request relief from staff.

2) The discussion boards.  It is on the regional boards where you can make yourself known, advertise your availability, tours and specials. Look at the "Info and Policies" section for more info, but the most important thing to know, if you post a link to your site, it has to have the TER logo on it, otherwise it will be deleted by the MOD.

3) TER Mail, or PM, as it is usually called.  This is only available to VIP members, and thus facilitates communication between serious members of the community.
