Yes, you do need one; you might want to try a free one to start.

There are several out there; two that come to mind are escortdesign.com and wix.com.
Some of the ladies may also have some suggestions on which to try.
But you do need to get one, also good quality photos for your site.
Also, you'll need to get the TER logo put on first page of your website.

over the years....My favorite one, was from 2004/05 and the friend from Las Vegas who hosted it for me one day LITERALLY vanished! To this day I STILL dont know what happened! (side note, if any one knows the handle cheesewiz and you know happened, message me please!)

Anyways, I was not smart enough to get the website on a disc, or some way of back up with the codes/files so that I could put it back up if he vanished (which he did!)

They have LOTS of info and ways to promote and start your site. It is very easy! I would HIGHLY suggest at bare minimum signing up for the silver upgrade.. it will provide support at a MUCH faster and expedited way.  
Also, it will allow you to have a website email... for instance  
lets say you buy a domain for your site called www.tasteytory.com
so with the silver purchase, which is only $15 for 3 months.... you can get a direct email for your site

and then also your site will be ad free..

and that includes a year of hosting, domain name, and the ability to edit whenever YOU want at no extra charge with the CMS format. Just the CMS alone, makes it so worth doing business with him, because most designers charge you to edit even one word, add a photo, change your rates, or update your calendar. I had paid around 10k for my first website, and found Orchid to be just as good, and for a 10th of the price.  

Also, make sure you get the perfect privacy on any site you have to register for in your real name. If you don't, it can be traced right back to the info. you put up for your credit card transaction on the hosting or domain name. Make sure that it is also Mobile friendly to some degree...rates, calendar, etiquette are most important.  

Photos you can choose to do a flash gallery like I did, or password protect them if you wish. I personally would never do a still gallery, because when you see the stats and how many guys will sit there for an hour jacking off to your pics, you realize how little of those same idiots book an appt. You want your screening requirements and rates to be the biggest thing, because guys who are serious will have to see that. The ones who do nothing but look at photos and never book, are not worth your time anyway so I would not make it easy for them.
