I hope paying attention to advice that will keep them out of trouble. Isn't that kind of what the Newbie Board is for? Asking cringeworthy questions without fear of being judged and learning something from the replies? It's the newbies who DON'T talk about it who wind up making the news.

Even experienced hobbyists can be taken for a ride or end up in jail when they start thinking with the little head instead of the big head. Anyone setting a trap, whether it be law enforcement or ripoff artists posing as providers, have rehearsed their plan over and over, their victims see that plan once, to their detriment.

Well put.  Look for LOTS of good reviews.  Right before a massage I made a newbie mistake by going to the bathroom, when I came back my money & provider were both gone.  Provider had only 1 review and an out of town phone# which is still active.
