If guys don't want to follow her screening requirements, they should move on.  She obviously has her reasons for doing the things she does to insure her safety, and I see nothing wrong with that.  Every provider has their own method of screening.

A noteworthy feature of psychopaths is that they're charming.  Plus the two big reasons that (nice) men come to us are: lack of time to pursue traditional dating and/or feeling awkward about doing so.  Both reasons lend themselves more to email and texting.

Every bit of my life, other than appointment time, is just me being a regular Jane. I can slip in a text but a phone call requires a full stop. I imagine their lives are the same.

Also, if I were ever arrested based on texts, I would have the exact same records as the authorities from the beginning. In a two party consent state (mine), they know I won't have records of a phone call, so they could record selectively, or worse, just testify inaccurately about what I "said."

Getting to know me is what the date is for.  

So, other than ethnicity, what info can only be learned by phone call?  I've seen lots of other women say this, so there's obviously something to it and this isn't personal, I just really don't understand.

Why can't she just handle this bcd with whoever the offender is and not have a meltdown?

Every girl deals with this sort of thing from time to time as I am sure you have.

The difference is the professionals like yourself know not to shit their panties and deal with it the way any responsible businesss does, discretely, professionally and if she needs to cry, go to the PO or buy a box of Kleenex.

The tone used via a phone call can be very important to some women. A condescending or entitled tone will, for me, abort the appointment right there.  

Nothing is foolproof but in my opinion the more you have, the safer it might be.  

Hookers can and will do things differently. For instance if a guy says he is a reviewer and puts emphasis on that fact, is an automatic no for me. Just he way I run my ship. Others will welcome him no questions. My system works for me, the op's works for her and yours works for you. Neither is wrong
