3) TER lists agencies that are reputable. Look at the Ads for your local area on TER. Agencies that are reputable and run good businesses post regularly on them.
TER also has Site reviews of providers and agencies listed by cities under the Tab "Site Reviews."
4) If you are TER VIP and you read several reviews, you can try PMing the reviewer. Many TER vets will be happy to help you.
5) Join P411 or a verification site like it (Date Check, etc.) Agencies and providers listed there are screened and verified.
6) Read the links that are available to you at the top right of the TER page by clicking the life preserver.

Sorry if this is an oft repeated question, I did a search and didn't find exactly what I was hoping for. Is there any way to tell whether or not an agency is "reputable", as in not involved in trafficking? Saw my first FS provider last weekend through an agency; this particular agency advertises a lot on Cityvibe and specializes in Asian women. The provider was in a nice area and certainly seemed to have willingly chosen the profession, but I suppose one never knows for sure. I did see some prior posts where members stated they will never use an agency because they don't even want to take the chance they are contributing to trafficking. So are there any red flags to look for when dealing with an agency that has mostly (or entirely) foreign workers? Thanks in advance.

From your post, it seems like you already know the answer. You'll never know for sure. If all the ladies are the same nationality, really young, and/or most of them didn't speak English I would be suspicious. All the reviews of the ladies are going to tell you is if they provide a legit service, their menu items, and the overall atmosphere. The agency might be "reputable" in that case, but the ladies could still be working there against their will.

You will never know if ANY story the escort in your bed is telling you is true or not. People lie for tons of different reasons ... so do escorts, so do we (the clients). Escorts are in the business of supplying a fantasy and will often tell you what they think you want to hear. She might have been born in LA and be a citizen. She could have been a terrorist here illegally biding her time in a sleeper cell. Maybe she is just here on a visa. Nobody here can tell you what the truth is for sure.
I would say if you're so worried about this subject then you need to stop seeing escorts, because even a supposed "indy" girl could really be a sex slave. If the lady doesn't ask you for help or she isn't covered in bruises and injuries, you should just assume she's there willingly. Stick to agencies and providers with reviews.
No ulterior motive at all. Well, maybe looking for validation and guilt alleviation that I know no one can give. I guess I just always assumed that these agencies were on the up and up, and while trolling the message boards that day saw a thread about an agency that was busted for trafficking, to everyone's surprise. Guess I assumed the less savory elements would be easy to spot, but of course that's not the case.

They can be disguised as indy or agency, so none of that matters when choosing. If you are seeing girls listed as under 21, I would ask for an ID...know plenty of guys who have done this. She can cover her damn name, but let you see the year she was born. Sadly, human trafficking is not just a myth and it exists both in and outside of the U.S. It is a multi-billion dollar industry, so your best bet is to try and weed out younger girls who have the possibility of being pimped or forced.
The short answer to your question is no, you can't tell unless there are some serious red flags. Even then, she may just have a pimp. Reading reviews and having VIP do nothing to protect you from seeing a girl who is underage or forced unless the guy are actually allowed to say so in the review lol. Usually, these reviews are pulled because it puts the board at risk having such reviews. Go with your gut.
