It's up to you, babe but I would never advise discussing actual date details on a site like Twitter or Facebook, but that's your call. I hope it's your hobby email you used to register and not your real one, or you're going to be in hot water when someone runs that info.

Have you ever had a provider (one your already met before) try and set something up through Twitter. I guess it would help to mention she's a porn star idk what I should do. Yes I know having a Twitter does kinda put's that target on me, and she is using the personal messenger, but still it's just weird. Since I booked her last time through an agency. I just feels kind of awkward. Especially since she's honestly been one of the nicer one's I've been with.

from what I have read on the boards, unless the two of you have already made an arrangement where this is OK.  It is a privacy issue, especially for those of us who are married.  My ATF won't even text me unless I have initiated contact with her first AND told her it is "OK to text back for next hour" or some such thing.

Just way too much risk there, would gently let her kmow unless it is OK with you.

I mean, I'm 23 I don't have an SO and I live by myself, so I don't have those issues it's the security thing and I don't think anyone knows I have a Twitter I really only got one to make sure it wasn't in the dog house with her after writing her review. Though I never mentioned anything about it just "thanking her for the good time" we had which honestly could have meant anything especially since there was no discussion on price or the length of our session. I

I would never book clients on any site that is not sex work oriented, so to speak, but that's up to you. Still, I would probably not say anything over that message system.

Initially it was nothing wrong she just told me she's gonna be around for a few days in April, nothing wrong there. I mean she's a real nice girl, I mean she's honestly done more for me than most providers do even to the point of moving my schedule up on the same day so I don't have to go find somewhere to crash because I didn't get the sleep I wanted to and was worried about making it to our appointment. Not most providers or at least from what I seen would put up with that. And she was the best host to offering water after the session and mint's before. I just think she's a bit naive, and she admits that she has been taken advantage of in the past, which I could relate and is the biggest reason someone as young as me is even hobbying.

well I guess she was just the best hostess out of all the girls I've been with not to say they weren't all wonderful girls. It's just she was pretty much the best GFE I ever had I guess I should say in terms of how it all played out. Yes they offered me the use of their facilities to freshen up and warm towels when needed, but those are a bit more expected. The water and mint's were kind gestures that I had not seen before and I had really appreciated. Runs what info my twitter? I don't even think anyone I know, knows I have one or else they would "followed" me by now. I saw no initial harm since I never thought she herself would contact me directly out of all the other more affluent gentlemen she could have gone with and can use the agency to contact me, and I'm young, live alone and have no SO to talk about or anyone going through my emails and such.

I would definitely move that conversation to private email and/or phone since you've already met before.

examine stuff from a distance. Get a clear head and go from there.

She told me she'd email me, I think it was a case of she sorta forgot the clandestine nature of this business

You can't open a newspaper today without reading of some person, usually a celebrity, being undone because he hit the wrong button or ran their mouths off on Twitter, or Facebook or some other social media.

Add to that the fact that kids use these media all the time, so there's that to consider too.

Keep the hobby on your hobby phone and/or hobby computer and leave it at that.

Convenient is not always good.

Exactly but again it's not like she was tweeting about it (I would have deleted my account if that happened and gone off the radar if she did that) she was using the sites PM (or DM a they call it) feature, so I think I'll be okay so long as the wrong person doesn't access her Twitter account though like I said I asked her to move the conversation to another more private media so as to protect both our safeties which she agreed.

This TER board is a good example of Social Media (web 2.0). We interact via the web by posts, chats, PMs, etc. Many small businesses, self-employed use social media to grow their business. It's not just for celebrities any more. The hobby world has been more slow to embrace this technology
Probably because of the fear of social repercussions; which can easily be avoided by setting up Twitter/Facebook accounts that are for hobby use only. Just like you should have separate email, cell phone, credit card, etc for the hobby.

Imagine how Twitter can benefit a provider. She can grow a list of "followers" from current clients, visitors to her website, etc. Then all she needs to do is type a few words like "Boston, Back Bay incall 4/5-4/8...(with tinyURL link to her website)." and hundreds (or thousands?) of followers will get her touring schedule in real time. e.g. If her plane gets snowed in she just posts her schedule change on twitter. In addition to getting information out quickly to a lot of people at once it can be a time saver giving her more leisure time, eg.

For clients - you can follow your favorite providers..no need to keep checking ad posts or emailing or calling her to find out when she will be visitng your city.

Social media is a big part of the civie world and I think it will work its way more into the hobby world

I agree, but promoting an ILLEGAL business from sites such as Twitter and Facebook, is simply not smart. How many times have emails been hacked and a mailer asking "London Rayne wants you to join facebook" are received by your contacts, without you even knowing? Also, the owners of those sites don't owe you shit as far as privacy goes. If the cops want in your message box, you can bet they are going to get in.

Whoever tried to PM me I don't have VIP right now
