New members can't post reviews?

How am I supposed to become a VIP without paying if new members can't post reviews? I tried to post a review of a provider I saw last week, and it was unapproved. The reason given was "From time to time we choose not to post reviews from users with limited history at TER. This is done with the interests of our community as a whole in mind. We thank you for your understanding."

It doesn't seem like they want to encourage new members to contribute to the community at all. Is this their way of just trying to get people to pay for a VIP membership?

You can develop a history by posting on the various boards.  Remember you have up to 3 months to post the review.

If you can afford to play, you should be able to afford the extra $ to by VIP.  Long time ago someone said "you need to speculate to accumulate."

It's more an issue of the fact that I don't have any credit cards any more.

It doesn't mean your review will be approved. I have been trying for a week now to get my first review approved.

Was this a new unreviewed lady also? It might help you to establish yourself as a hobbyist by posting a review of a well established and highly reviewed provider first, and then resubmit this review. Just a suggestion.

I concluded it is very difficult to maintain VIP with just reviews, though the boost of a few extra days in always nice.
TER VIP costs much less than even one spoiled date.  Believe me.
TER looks at your log ins.  Board participation.  Reviews of previously reviewed providers.
And you can resubmit reviews for up to 90 days...  that's also what I did.

odds are your review will go thru.  Pay for one month and then maintain by writing reviews if you think you will write that many.  It never hurts to complain to TER and have the lady you wrote the review for do the same.

this is a standard (although i do not agree) of ter, especially if the guy or girl is fairly new....when i first started as a provider and many that i see were not members of ter, had a hell of a time getting a first review.  Surprise, surprise once one of my clients joined ter, review went up without a hitch.........so two ways to spend your money.....join for a month or three or see a girl well reviewed don't agree that it is fair policy, but that's the way it's set up......let's face it, while we may consider this site as conversing with friends and worthwhile info, it is a business.......................
