Don't give away your home or incall location by using a smartphone camera with GPS!!

Most smartphones will automatically add latitude/longitude location (within 50 feet or less !) of where the picture was taken. If you take candid photos and email them, the recipient will likely have your location information.

Given latitude and longitude, many web sites convert to address or map location - VERY ACCURATELY!

To check if your picture has this info, click on the picture file's  "properties", then "details" - you'll see your phone model, exposure setting, etc., also.

Word files - many files, including Word .doc files, have AUTHOR's NAME embedded!!!!

Word to the wise, ladies! (and gents!)

I go to the settings and turn off geo embedding on my smartphone and my digital camera.
