is unexpected relatives mean it is that time of the month?

Maybe, maybe not. I have never been given that excuse, so who knows. It might be true or she doesnt want to see you at this time. If you still really want to see her, ask her when her relatives will be leaving. If she gives you another lame excuse, move on.

lol...I have had someone ask me before if it meant relatives.  Reason being because I refer to "that time of the month" as having "Eve, the evil bitch" show up.  And if anyone knows anything about the Bible and that apple loving Tramp in the garden, well...that would be Eve, the evil bitch.  

Just a way to say it with out having to blurt out the obvious.  

But if I was to have actual family in, then I would say that.
