Both CC Bill and SegPay have declined the card.  I'm guessing it's because both of those send you to their EU sites and my gift card says valid only in the US.

Does anyone know if there are gift cards out there that can be used to buy my subscription?  What do I need to look for on the card?

you must register your real name, etc.

I think this is to avoid any problems with being under aged, etc.

I used a Walmart gift card. You do have to activate it online using your real name though.

They also maybe other suggestions in the thread that help.

Your problem might just be an issue if registering the card. If that doesn't work, I have heard the generic (non green dot) gift cards at places like Walmart and Walgreens work.

Make sure the outside of the cardboard package says either "good ANYWHERE VISA is accepted" or "international".  

On-line reg does not ask for overly personal info.

I've used it twice. First time, activation was instant and I paid CCBill 2 minutes later. Second time, I got nervous because the CCBill payment didn't go through or get approved. About an hour later, it did. YMMV.

I have not been able to successfully use either a prepaid visa purchased from Walgreens or a target or Walgreens specific giftcard that TER now supposedly accepts.  Can anyone be specific about having success with this in the US?
