Ok I know that Providers get "limited" VIP memberships when our reviews are linked to our profile, and that we have certain privileges when that is done. Before I was able to type in a hobbyists handle and find all of his reviews, now I have to buy a VIP membership? How is that supposed to keep us providers safe if we cannot even search a hobbyist to see and contact the last provider he has seen? I tell you what, whitelisting is useless, 90% of providers dont EVER whitelist a hobbyist.... IF there is another way, please, someone let me know.... It'll make things MUCH easier and helpful....
TER is probably not a good screening option for providers. if i were providing i would not exclusively rely on TER to screen. MoCo PD MD are claiming they have infiltrated TER, not sure what they mean by that but i suppose they may be using hobbyist and/or provider accounts. i agree with you about whitelisting, it is kind of lame. all it tells the provider is that i behaved myself during a visit. it is analagous to a p411 "ok" except p411 does a modicum of background checking when the user registers.
i think TER would be most useful to a provider to see how a client reviews and perhaps glean some information on his preferences in advance.
what I do is look up the last 2 reviews the hobbyist posted and contact those providers through email AND TER.... but unless I BUY A VIP membership, I cannot search any reviews from him to contact his last providers.... It sucks and so I most likely have to get the membership....
