verifying TER handle

I had a guy request an incall with me next week. He gave me his TER handle, and I have done a "search messages" on our discussion board to try and find him, but he does not appear anywhere. How can I verify that the TER handle he gave me is valid? I want to PM him to make sure it's him.

The only way I know to verify if a userid exists is to send a PM.  If the handle doesn't exist, you will receive an error message.  If it does exist, you have no idea whether or not the TM was received.  If the recipient is not a VIP, it will sit in limbo until he/she is a VIP.

You can verify that a user name is real by doing a search by reviewer.

If the user had reviews the search will bring up those reviews.

If the user doesn't have any reviews but is a registered user you will get the message:
"No reviews have been posted by this member"

If it isn't a valid user name you will get a message saying:
"Username ******* was not found in our database."

I know it's dreaming but wouldn't it be nice if we could send a password to any member on TER. That at least would let you know he is who he says he is. I have used this system many times but didn't know it only works for VIP's. I'm putting this on my wish list.  Kisses Haley
