Dumb question on sharing personal info and references

The member providers will notify the service of the type of customer you were. The service will put that information in your record for use by other providers. The three top services will ask for and verify personal information on use, but by using providers that are members of the same service, you can limit the number of times you have to give out the personal information.

Providers ask for personal and reference information for their personal safety and to screen out bad customers. Independents and agencies need such information, the best use it to make your encounter smooth and carefree for you and them.

It is natural for a newbie to not want to give out personal information, many experienced hobbyists either don't give out that information, or limit the amount given out. I, for instance, won't give anyone my TER handle while at the same time giving that person my real name and home address. But I will share real name, living address information or hotel information and limited work information with a provider or agency once I have researched and saw that the provider or agency is legit. In this business, you get what you give. No top notch provider or agency will provide services to you if you are unwilling to provide the information they ask for.

Some girls don't do any screening at all! Seriously! Did you know that some providers don't even know they were reviewed on TER? Guys don't always tell you they are going to review you and some girls don't even know about this "community." They are just trying to make a living and just trust their instincts when it comes to screening.

Many don't do employment screening, so you may never need to give any personal info at all. It depends on what "level" of provider you are going to see for your first one.

But be warned... I, for one, won't accept a reference that is unreviewed. I had a guy yesterday try to book an appointment but his reference had no reviews. No go.

The more experienced a provider is and the more "above the radar" she is, the more rigid her screening process will be. You probably will not be able to see a provider on that level with no references anyway.

Once you have seen your first escort that you can use as a reference, you will be "remembered" by that girl by your phone number or email address for the most part. Your "real" name shouldn't really matter at that point.

I included a link below to another post where I explain how I check a reference and how I look up a client when someone uses me as a reference. None of this is done with the guy's legal name or home address.

As far as a verification sites like Preferred411, membership alone will not get you verified to see many well established providers. Until you get an "okay" from a provider on the site, you will need a reputable reference outside of the site to see many girls (like me!). But you will have a better chance of seeing some providers with a membership than none, it depends on how rigid their screening process is (and your membership won't make any difference if you are trying to see a girl who is not a member and doesn't even know about that site!). It's just not a done deal. Someone, somewhere has to have seen you first (and she has to be reputable) before you can see many well-established providers who have a reputation to protect. And many require two references!

Before you start to cry, just remember that the "catch 22" of it all applies to providers starting out as well. Many hobbyists won't see an unreviewed provider and you can't get reviewed unless you are reviewed by a reviewer!

So, I have been reading the boards quite religiously, and I'll summarize some advice that I have collected to get into the hobby if you are uber-privacy conscious and you don't like sharing your personal information:

Get a hobby phone for privacy, do your homework and identify a newbie-friendly provider, you will probably need to be screened for the first 1-2 providers and they are going to require some personally identifiable info, after that you can probably get by on the 3rd, 4th, etc. provider by sharing your references but YMMV.

Okay, that sounds good, makes sense, and is reasonable (if I got it right).

However, if the purpose to provide your personal info to 1 or 2 providers, how do you share the references with the 3rd, 4th, etc. provider?  Ie. how do you identify yourself without sharing your name to the providers once you have the references?

I know that there's verification services that allow you to share a handle.  But without a verification service, are you effectively required to share your name with every provider?  Do you just share your hobby phone number, or only a first name and last initial?  Or... other?

I actually looked and couldn't find any input on this type of thread, so apologies if this is buried here somewhere.

Many thanks.

...but a lot of ladies will still ask for your personal info.  I appreciate the fact that you have been verified, but because of my position in the private sector, I will ask for your name as it appears on your DL, your place of employment, and your birth year.

Each lady screens differently, so if you hit a roadblock, do not take it personally.  Either give her the info she asks for, or move on.

Hugs and Kisses,
Kelly
