Just getting started with hobbying, and having loads of fun, but want to land in the best areas with referrals.  As I was learning the ropes of references and screening, I of course learned of the p411 and Date-Check sites.  Both have membership fees, so I chose only one and joined.  Is one more or less relevant than the other to providers?  I haven't run into any difficulties with screening with any providers I have so enjoyed spending time with, but not really getting any "logged" referral records either.  I think I may have selected the least relevant of the two.  Guess I can always change up on renewal time.

Do you mean you are not getting Okays in the case of P411 or References which is what Date Check calls them? You know you have to request them, right?  

It looks like you are in the Atlanta area, so you may want to post on that regional board to see which is more popular with ladies there.  

I belong to both and they each have their strengths, but I will will admit to primarily using P411 myself. It has more a a presence nationally in my opinion than does Date Check.  The pros and cons have been discussed here several times.  Just do a search of this board

I think I may know what you mean. When you check out a providers profile that you've seen, you are able to click on something that wi state that you've seen her before. If you've seen her, she will confirm you've met and it will show on your profile.

...all good points and suggestions.  SB, I agree with the regional comment; it seems in the ATL there is more use and mention of, and reliance on p411 by providers for referrals. Guess a combination of either, with the white list here on TER, will work sufficiently.  Good times!

The best deal for the money is the lifetime membership on DC.  P411 has one also, but much more expensive.  I watch when they run renewal specials and renew then.

As previously mentioned, you have to ask the provider if she will give you a DC ref or a P411 OK, just as you have to ask for a whitelist referral on this site.  If you are seeing members of those sites, and you had a good visit, they should have no problem vouching for you.  The more you have, the easier screening will be in the future.

I've read other posts about using prepaid cards for P411, it looks like even those cards would need to be registered - but can you use dummy information or is a legit SS# required to allow a foreign transaction?

I'm pretty sure the banks are going to check the social to see if it matches your information.  We must thank the Mexican narco-lords and idiots driving aircraft into buildings for this inconvenience.  The pre-paid cards state in the TOS that until they are registered, foreign transactions are denied.
