I am a relative newbie (2 or so reviews under my belt). I have been living overseas for a couple of years, and am planning a visit back to the USA. If I wish to see a provider while in the States, how do I get verified? Using a service such as date check won't help, because even if they would call a foreign employer, the person answering the phone does not speak English! I can't provide any recent references/referrals.
Any suggestions (especially from providers) would be appreciated. Thank you.

I have seen an expatriate or two.  First, provide info on previous US addresses.  

Second, the lady may wish to meet you first in a public venue so that you can bring your passport and airline tickets.  She may also wish to have you scan and email a copy of your International DL or show it to her when you meet in public (hotel bar, coffee shop or restaurant).

I thought that some of the verification services (DateCheck, P411, RS2000) also listed some international services? Of course, your circumstances in EU might be keeping you from being active that way. What about the indies who are well known in the US but also travel to EU? I've seen their ads, I just can't think of an easy way to search for them on TER Reviews. (The idea being, chunnel from Paris to London to get one int'l referral under your belt before heading Stateside.)
