Variation: Is being retired going to hurt verification?

I'm a newbie about to take the plunge and attempt to get verified through P411 or DateCheck.

I don't know if it's going to be a problem that my job is front desk clerk at a hotel.

What do you think?

I've been looking for a new job anyway.  Perhaps I should wait until I'm hired somewhere else?

I can't for the life of me figure out why this would be a problem.  What exactly is your logic here?

Since I don't have an employer to verify employment, and have only one reference from a provider I've seen maybe once a year (I'm poor, doncha know)?

I don't see the problem with being a hotel employee.  I'm really baffled on that one.

And there are some of us who will take one escort reference providing we can contact her and if she's well known and/or has a strong internet presence.

Thanks and Happy Hobbing!

My logic is that providers would not want to see me in case they check into my hotel sometime and I'm the guy working the counter.  To that provider, this now means that somebody who works there knows what she's up to.

This is just me being paranoid.  Hotel employees, for the most part, don't care about providers using their rooms.  A room sold is a room sold.

That's like worrying that they won't see a guy who works in a drugstore because he might see them buying condoms and know what they are up to. Relax.

Just because a lady is a provider doesn't mean everytime she checks into a hotel she is there for an encounter.

Relax, find the lady of your choice and enjoy.

I've been thinking on your post...  I hope that the responses are correct & your employment will not be an issue.  I would suggest you never see a lady at your place of employment.  If you ever should encounter a provider of your aquaintance, act as we should do if meeting a provider in public.  Give no indication of your recognition beyond prehaps a slight nod of the head as you would a friendly stranger passing.  At work,  deal with only the business at hand.

In this work environment, do not do anything which would reflect poorly on your work history.
