I had my first experience and the first thing that happened was she took the donation. Then said it would be double that for anything to happen. Is that normal? This was in vegas
politely ask for your money back and leave..if it is your room..politely ask for your money back and tell her to leave..if it was through an agency..immediately call her boss..if it was not..do not go back to that source again..vegas can be a snakepit if you are not careful.

Yes upselling is very common, especially in Vegas. A lot of tourists and a lot of money in that city make scams rampant. Not to mention most people will not report gettig scammed or robbed.
If you follow advice you can find here on TER, and if you see one of the many highly reviewed independent ladies, or ladies from one of the two reputable agencies in Vegas. you will not be upsold or scammed! I imagine you called someone off one of those cards the street vendors pass out, or called one of the numbers off the billboard trucks. Those are all scams.
Recommendations:
1) Get VIP here if you don't already have it. It is well worth the 30 bucks and will pay for itself many times over.
2) Read the self help guide under the life preserver at the top of the page.
3) Read back a bunch of pages on this newbie forum, as you will see many questions asked and answered. Also use search at the top of the page for specific questions. If you still have questions, come back and ask them here.
4) Check the Vegas regional TER discussion board and ad board.
5) Read the reivews for The TER vegas ladies
6) Sign up for P411
7) book one of the highly reviewed Vegas independent ladies (by the way, one of their finest regularly posts here on the newbie board) or book one of the ladies from one of the two reputable agencies. I will not shill for the agencies here, but you can easily figure out which ones I am talking about by checking the Vegas regional board and ad board.
My advice goes for just about anywhere. If you research and only see well reviewed ladies you should do well and not get scammed, robbed or upsold. However my point was that Vegas is probably one of the worst places for an uneducated newbie. Get educated! This is your school.
Good luck and have fun!
I actually found her on here, she only had one review which I should have seen as a red flag. Her excuse was that her agency got 100% of her donation and 20 % of her tip. I wish I would have just asked her to leave, terrible first experience.
Was sry to hear of your on the job training ,as stated you learned an expensive lesson. Most of us can have similar stories.
With a lady you found on TER. Now you know. Don't trust one review. Many of those agency ladies will have the first review written by the agency. It's a fake. Look for ladies with several to many reviews. And at least some of the reviews should be written by hobbyists with several to many reviews. You should write a review for this experience. It may be very helpful to the next guy.
This is why many gents think Vegas is a terrible place to hobby those are the ones who do not do their research. On the other hand there are some gents who will only hobby in Vegas or do not have these issues because they did research.A true independent provider will not upsell you their rate is a flat rate.
Sorry, you had a bad time here in Vegas but the good news is that you found this site.Perfectstorm gave you some really good advice I would suggest investing in VIP membership here so you can read the reviews and search for the particular type of lady you are interested in.
Take a look at the regional ad boards and discussion boards for Vegas or any other city you are searching for a ladies you can also post an In search of post if you have questions during your search.
I wish more gents would find TER or similar type of sites before coming to Vegas so they do not encounter what you described in your post.
Good luck to you!
Here's a link
That link should be right up there with the self help center. It doesn't hurt to have people reminded about what can happen if they don't do their research.
