Hi guys and gals, you folks are great!

I'm sure you have seen Arno245 "snarky answer" post.  While some newbies need to grow a thicker skin, I do agree that we sometimes go over the top making our points.

Humor, sarcasm, light hazing are acceptable, but if your's is one of the first replies, either answer the question, or provide an obvious link. (BTW - be as snarky as you like, so long as you provide the info!!!)  Remember, this board is meant to be a safe place for newbies to ask questions.  Let's try to keep it that way!

Nor has anyone, this was just a general reminder!

I made a suggestion in the Suggestion & Policy board that, if enacted, would avoid many of these problems.

To date, this post has not even received acknowledgment from TER staff or admins.

Staff rarely acknowledges anything in Suggestions & Policy.

And.

Many many newbies simply find it easier to ask the question pressing on their minds rather than searching, or reading the sticky.
