If you have been outed, then you want to change your name, and have no trace back to your old name. If you link your old name and new name, then it is just a matter of time for people to figure that out.

Kill all your old ads. Get a new name, phone, and e-mail address. You can keep the old contacts active, so guys you trust can contact you, and you can give them your new info.

Take all new pics, change the wording on your website, etc. so it is not obvious to casual searchers that you are the same person.

You will have to rebuild your reviews, but that's the way it goes. I've seen a bunch of ladies change their name. Some for reasons as yourself, and some, just because they do it ever year or two. If I know the reason, it is no big deal. If I don't, then I tend to think she is just being a flake, and/or trying to get away from bad reviews.

Long story short I was outed in my local area by a hobbiest I refused to meet with when he saw me out in public. I was very embarrassed needless to say. Not much harm has come to me however I have seriously thought about the possible repercussions this could still have. I've been thinking of changing my provider name but wondering how that will affect my biz even thought I'm very part time. I need to be extremely cautious and make sure that my photos are cropped etc. I've always screened like the dickens. I just wonder what happens to my reviews and how do gents view a gal who has to do this?

Thanks!

Contact TER adm, tell them what happened. Take a look at other lady's reviews. A lot of time you'll see the name in the profile like this  Tiffany/Amber, that means she's  changed her name from Amber to Tiffany.   As far as how a gent reviews a name change by a provider, every guy is different. For me it's not a big deal. For a newb it could be a problem.  Let's face some unscrupulous ladies do change names to decieve hobbyist. Good luck

We understand that sometimes this is necessary.  Hiddenhills gave good advice.

If a hobbyist can make you just from photos, you are doing a poor job of posting photos that give a gent a good idea of what a potential client is in for during a date with you, but not enough information for him to recognize you in public unless he has been with you before. Your mother should not be able to look at your provider photos and be able to make you out.

The important issue around photos is eliminating distinctive aspects of you that will give you away. Never show your face. You can turn your face away from the camera and that it catches only parts of your face but not enough for anyone to recognize you. If you have distinctive markings like birthmoles or tatoos, you may want then photo shopped out, just let potential customers know that you have those features.
